On Friday night, an electro-pop outfit (Options Open), a cyborg-satire-pop project (Jake Laundry), and a multi-instrumentalist and visual artist (Coley Mixan) came together for a donation only show at Hollow Earth Radio. From Mixan’s visual pieces to Laundry’s visuals of his own body, click through to experience the full run of the night.

Options Open kicked off the night of music at Hollow Earth Radio.

Options Open is a project of Eric Gordon.

A more introspective moment in the middle of a high energy set.

Gordon also has a vaporwave music project called Darien Shields.

This set from Options Open was fully acoustic, but often its sets feature various electronic instruments.

Jake Laundry fully integrates multimedia into his sets.

The classical guitar sound over beats and backing tracks lended an organic feel.

Laundry explored his chosen genre, satiric cyborg pop, to the fullest and posted to Facebook multiple times at the behest of his “robot overlords.”

And the shorts.

Artful social satire was the theme for this set.

Video and photos taken by Laundry were used and projected onscreen during the set.

Coley Mixan takes the stage and starts their set by building a looped beat.

Video created by Mixan was featured during this performance.

Impressive arrangements were built and deconstructed on the fly using various looping and delay effects.

This set was streamed live on Hollow Earth Radio.

Toast and peanut butter were provided by the artist to the great joy of attendees.

The toaster had a contact mic attached and produced a lovely sound.

Mixan switched over to the acoustic guitar for two songs.
